Tonjigi is an offshore jigging game aimed at skipjack tuna (commonly known as dragonfly tuna).

Since fishing is done in areas with depths of 300m to over 1000m, a jig that is easy to target at a set depth, rather than taking the bottom, is required.

The action that the SALTIGA TB jig was designed for is a light pulling resistance when jerking and a flashing fall with a long flight time, allowing the jig to be shown to the target fish for a longer period of time.

This action is also very effective in tonjigi, and by appealing and showing the jig firmly with a long fall, it is possible to create a time for the fish to bite, which leads to increased catches.
